The MAX3080ECSD+ is an advanced single-channel RS-485/RS-422 transceiver that is commonly used in industrial applications. The device is designed to provide reliable, low-power, two-port serial communication bus for field-bus and sensor applications. It makes the use of 2-wire RS-485 data transmission easy, fast and reliable. The RS-485/RS-422 transceivers utilize a differential architecture to allow for high-speed data transmission. The MAX3080ECSD+ provides robust ESD protection on all its pins. On-chip ESD protection allows the device to work in high-noise and ESD-sensitive environments. The device also features 100dB common-mode noise rejecion, which ensures reliable operation in noisy environments.
