MAX3082ESA is a +3.3V, ±15 kV ESD-protected, +3.3V, low-power, down-translated, RS-485/RS-422 transceiver. It is also available in a +5V version. Its unparalleled level of protection is provided by state-of-the-art ESD protection diodes, which guard both pins on the RS-485/RS-422 data pairs. These ESD protection diodes have been designed to withstand +15 kV Contact HBM and +5 kV Fully-kV Air-Gap Discharge. The device also provides up to 4 Mbps data rate capability.
