The MAX3083CSD+ features On-Chip ESD protection with three independent ESD protection circuits to protect the TXDI, RXDI, and TBC pins. Additionally, the device includes two separate UV (Under Voltage) protection circuits. The device is packaged in a small footprint 3.2mmx3.2mm QFN16 package and is designed to operate over an extended temperature range of -40°C to + 85°C.
The MAX3083CSD+ features several built-in diagnosis features that allow the bus manager (microcontroller or host processor) to determine the current health of the bus and take corrective actions when needed.
