The MAX34561T+ HotSwap controls output power and allows bidirectional communication between a host system and the board that is driven by the HotSwap circuit.Application field of MAX34561T+:
The MAX34561T+ Hot Swap Controllers is designed to drive a standalone power source or backplane source, and it can be used as a HotSwap controller between the subsystems in a large system. In addition, the MAX34561T+ is well suited in a variety of system designs, including systems in the telecommunications, industrial, aerospace and defense, medical, and automotive markets.Working principle of MAX34561T+:
The MAX34561T+ Hot Swap Controllers features a robust current-sense circuit which monitors the amount of current drawn from the load and allows the current limit to be set to prevent over-current conditions. A voltage-controlled “auto-restart” feature allows the HotSwap controller to safely restart the output power to the system if an over-current condition is detected.The MAX34561T+ also features several other levels of protection for the output power in the form of over-voltage protection, over-temperature protection, and brownout protection. The hot-swap controller also provides fault reporting and system monitoring and logging which allows the system to be monitored and faults to be reported.The MAX34561T+ also provides a high-voltage buffered output power and a low-voltage input power. The high voltage output power is highly stable and supports output voltages up to 24V, while the low voltage input power supports an input voltage of up to 15V.Conclusion:
