The MAX3218CPP+ is an application specific integrated circuit which is designed to interface devices with the Universal Serial Bus. The IC is a serial bus transceiver able to transmit and receive data with a speed up to 12 Mbps. It supports two different speeds, low speed (1.5 Mbps) and full speed (12 Mbps). The device also includes clock-not-ticket and suspended states. The IC is powered using two supplies namely direction (VDDI) and supply (VCC).
