The MAX3222IPW is a dual transceiver, driver, and receiver for bidirectional asynchronous data communication between data terminal equipment (DTE) and data communications equipment (DCE). This device is designed to interface between full-speed USB ports and asynchronous communication interfaces such as RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485. The MAX3222IPW is designed to meet the requirements of the Universal Serial Bus Specification Revision 2.0.

The MAX3222IPW is a low-power, low-cost device that provides the interface between the USB port and asynchronous serial data communication systems.
