The MAX3224EAP+T is a quad channel, +3V to +5.5V powered, 10Mbps, RS-485/RS-422 transceiver that is designed to meet the EIA/TIA-485 specifications. It allows both full and half-duplex communication with one driver and one or multiple receivers that can be up to 32m away. The device is used in point-to-point and multi-drop systems, in which up to 32 nodes can be connected together.
