The MAX3228EBV-T, developed by Maxim Integrated Products, is a 3-channel RS-232 transceiver with ±15 kV ESD protection. It is designed to be a single, low-cost solution to interface ongoing systems and modern PCs to RS-232 devices, enabling the connection of legacy designs and laptop systems to the latest PCs.
