The MAX3232IDBR is a Triple RS-232 Line Driver/Receiver Transceivers designed to operate from a single 3.0V to 5.5V supply with a minimum current draw of only 500μA. The transceiver features three receivers, three drivers and a shutdown mode, allowing it to be used as a low power replacement for higher power dual and quad rail-to-rail transceivers. The MAX3232IDBR is suitable for use in applications such as personal computing, embedded control, and industrial automation.
The MAX3232IDBR is ideal for applications that require high transmission speeds and low power consumption, such as those found in personal computing, embedded control, and industrial automation. The device operates at data rates up to 100 kbps and is capable of driving up to 15 meters of unshielded twisted pair cable.
