It is suitable for use in non- isolated Point-of-Load (POL) converters, isolated POL converters, servers, data acquisition systems, remote access servers, and similar low-power industrial applications. This transceiver is designed to meet power, voltage, and temperature specifications as per the RS-232 application note. It can be used in TIA/EIA-232E, EIA-485, and EIA-222 applications.
The MAX3243ECPWG4 is a single-chip device that incorporates a dual-driver, a quad-receiver, and integrated thermal shutdown circuitry. It is designed to meet or exceed the requirements of the RS-232 standard in terms of its data transmission performance, dynamic range, and supply voltage requirements.
