The MAX3490EEPA+ is a 3.3-V multichannel, low-power, transceiver belonging to the family of interface drivers, receivers and transceivers. It includes four independent, full-duplex RS-485 transceivers with selectable slew rates and adjustable slew-rate control that make it suitable for applications where extended cable length and reduced EMI radiation are necessary.

The four bi-directional transceivers of the MAX3490EEPA+ provide two differential outputs, two differential inputs, and one inverted input enabling four full duplex communication channels for peer-to-peer communications or multipoint links.
