MAX3535ECWI+ is a simple, low-cost, single-channel digital interface transceiver (DTT) family intended for use as a physical layer (PHY) interface solution for systems that connect to twisted pair cabling. Working Principle
The MAX3535ECWI+ transceiver consists of two parts, a digital interface driver and receiver and an analog transceiver section. The receiver converts the differential signal back into its digital form. The transceiver is designed to provide an optimal balance between noise immunity, power savings and high speed operation.
The digital circuitry of the MAX3535ECWI+ operates at a serial transfer rate of up to 25Mbps. The transceiver includes an analog channel containing three selectable adaptive equalizers with different operational speed, the optimized operation of which reduces power consumption and increases data transfer rate. Adaptive equalizers are used to provide immunity to channel crosstalk, echo, and reflected waves.
The MAX3535ECWI+ operates over a wide voltage range, including 5V and 3.3V interfaces. It supports both logical low and high logic levels. It is EMC-friendly and provides a high degree of immunity to transients, high-frequency interference and radiated interference.
