The MAX3941ETG+T is a high-speed, low-power, full-duplex, low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) transceiver chip designed to transmit and receive data on embedded systems and interface communication systems. It belongs to the field of Interface - Telecom, making contribution to the upgrading of embedded systems and interface communication systems based on its superior performance.

The chip adopts low-voltage 1.2V single power supply, each driver and receiver in the chip have separate power supplies, which is conducive to reduce the interference between driver and receiver circuit, improve the rate and reliability of transmission. Its total current consumption is lower than 18 mA. With up to 800 Mbps full-duplex rate, it has very fast data transmission speed, which is suitable for use in networks that require fast and reliable transmission.

The MAX3941ETG+T serializes the 8-bit parallel data from the CPU. The serialized LVDS data is then input to the driver via the data input line. The serial data output from the MAX3941ETG+T is then converted back to 8-bit parallel data by the CPU after being received . The receiver noise rejection ratio is greater than 18 dB, and the overall gain is greater than -1 dB, thus achieving good noise suppression. This can ensure accurate data transmission. In addition, the chip also supports reliable garbled code detection and synchronization detection.

In addition to that, the device is designed with a single-letter cue and pause feature to relieve direction inversion issues. With the spread-spectrum clock suppression feature enabled, the chip can reduce EMI output while maintaining the highest line rate. In terms of electrical characteristics, the input logic low voltage is greater than 0.5 V and the input logic high voltage is less than 2.0 V. The output logic low current is greater than −8 mA and the output logic high current is less than 8 mA. The device is suitable for liquid crystal displays, digital video interfaces, Fibre Channel and other equivalent interface applications.

The MAX3941ETG+T has rigorous electrical protection hardware and logic circuit designs to protect the chip itself, or the other devices connected to it from damage caused by ESD, sustained high current, over-voltage, or over-temperature conditions. In addition, the chip is designed with a power-on reset function, which allows the chip to output a low voltage signal on the OE pin when the power is turned on. This helps ensure the reliability of the chip.
