The MC33470DW is a highly integrated system-level power-management integrated circuit (PMIC) for use in battery-powered devices. It integrates all of the necessary functions for a complete, battery-powered system including: microprocessor voltage regulation and power sequencing, a switch-mode buck converter, a low-dropout regulator, an LDO controller, an analog watchdog, a battery monitor, and other auxiliary features.

The MC33470DW is a special purpose voltage regulator. It is an integrated circuit (IC) intended to sense, control, and regulate the input voltage applied to a specific battery-powered device in order to maintain a constant voltage to the device’s electronic components.
