The MIC4452YM is an important component used in Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC) - Gate Drivers. Working Principle of the MIC 4452YM
The operation of the MIC4452YM is achieved through the use of an independent high side and low side logic input boosting circuit. On the low side, the logic input voltage is boosted up to a minimum of 1V. On the high side, the logic level of the pulse width modulation (PWM) input is boosted up to a minimum of 2.5 V, before being passed through the driver for output control. The single input voltage range is from 0 to 5.5 V, and the output voltage is an open drain with a maximum of 5.5 V. The MIC4452YM also includes an integrated fault protection (OVP) circuit, which will go into action to prevent any fault conditions from occurring.
