Working Principle

In addition, it supports up to 2KB of instruction cache and 512-byte data cache to increase code efficiency and reduce the usage of RAM. The controller also has 4KB each of RAM and EEPROM memory, 16KB of Program Flash, and 16 GPIO pins.

The touch sensing feature of the MKL34Z64VLL4 is especially useful for low-power wearable electronics, medical instruments, and home appliances. It utilizes the Electrostatic Field Sensor (EFS) technology which overcomes the disadvantages of traditional solutions by providing accurate touch sensing, low power operation and a high integration level. It can also detect touches from up to 8 touch points simultaneously and can be used as a substitute for physical buttons. With its low power operation, the MKL34Z64VLL4 makes an efficient solution for wearable devices and home automation solutions.
