Motion sensors, also known as accelerometers, are sensors that measure the acceleration of an object relative to its resting point. The MMA8450QT is a highly accurate micro-electro-mechanical (MEMS) sensor designed to measure and record linear acceleration within large dynamic range with a low power consumption.
