1. Describe

The MMA8452QR1 is a smart, low-power, three-axis, capacitive, micromachined accelerometer with 12-bit resolution. The accelerometer contains embedded features and flexible user-programmable options, and can be configured as two interrupt pins. Embedded interrupt functionality enables overall power savings, offloading the host processor from constantly polling for data. The MMA8452QR1 has a user selectable full scale of ±2 g/±4 g/ ±8 g with high pass filtered data as well as unfiltered data available in real time. The device can be configured to generate an inertial wake-up interrupt signal based on any combination of configurable embedded functions, allowing the MMA8452QR1 to monitor events and maintain a low-power mode during periods of inactivity. The MMA8452QR1 is available in a 16-pin QFN, 3 mm x 3 mm x 1 mm package.
