This optoisolator is typically used in applications such as solid-state relays, light dimmers, heating and lighting control systems, thermistor motor control, dc motor control, and isolated ac circuitry. It can be used with two-wire, three-wire, and four-wire systems, and can be directly connected to the line voltage. This allows the device to be used in a broad range of circuit configurations.
This optoisolator is extremely fast and can handle high speed switching of up to 2A, making it well suited for applications such as inductive loads and high frequency control systems.
