The MOC3063FM is a zero-cross optoisolator with Triac, SCR output. It has a compact 6-pin SOP (Small Outline Package) and a minimum insulation voltage of 5300VRMS. This device also features a photovoltaic MOSFET output with an on-state voltage drop of < 0.7V, an off-state leakage current of 10nA, and is capable of directly driving loads up to 600V and 5A.

The MOC3063FM is widely used in a variety of applications, including motor speed control, motor speed control, temperature control, current and voltage regulation, power factor control, and much more. It is also used in triac-coupled gate turn-off thyristorcoupled power factor control applications. Additionally, it is used in lighting, automotive, and industrial control applications.

The MOC3063FM works by utilizing a light-emitting diode (LED) to activate a photo MOSFET. The LED is optically coupled to the MOSFET, which then turns the LED off and on.
