The working principle of MP2303ADN-LF is a buck structure that takes a wide input voltage range, then step downs the voltage through an internal MOSFET. This regulator utilizes the pulse width modulation (PWM) technology, then uses it into the inductor current in order to regulate the output voltage.At the start of the cycle, the internal MOSFET is turned on then switches to a certain duty cycle. This duty cycle is determined by an internal feedback loop, based on the output voltage. During the on time of the cycle, the current flow through the inductor and accumulates magnetic energy that is used to supply the load. When the switching cycle is finished, the inductor current returns to the input supply and at this point the output voltage can be regulated.
