TVS (transient voltage suppressor) diodes are commonly used in electrical circuits to protect against potentially destructive surges or transients of electric current. The MXSMBJ20CA is a type of TVS diode designed to protect against electrostatic discharges (ESD) and other types of eletrical transients.
