The NCP59151DS00GEVB provides an easy to use, cost effective evaluation board for engineers and scientists who need to develop and test applications using linear voltage regulators. This evaluation board is designed to evaluate the features and performance of the NCP59151DS00GE low dropout (LDO) linear regulator. The NCP59151DS00GEVB evaluation board has an input voltage range of 3 V to 5.5 V and an output voltage range of 2.2 V to 5.1 V adjustable in 20 mV steps. It includes an adjustable power supply, adjustable output voltage, and a switching buck converter for testing the LDO\'s load transient behavior.The NCP59151DS00GEVB allows users to quickly evaluate the functional performance of the NCP59151DS00GE while also providing an adjustable power supply and adjustable output voltage. The NCP59151DS00GEVB also provides a high level of precision with a pre-configured output voltage accuracy of ±0.5%. The evaluation board also allows the user to observe the LDO load transient response to a step load for further analysis and testing.The NCP59151DS00GE device is a low cost, high precision, low power linear voltage regulator. The device operates with an input voltage range of 2.7 V – 5.5V and its output voltage range is adjustable from 0.7 V – 4.2V in 20 mV steps. The device has a maximum load current of 1.5A and a dropout voltage of ≤200 mV at 1.5 A. Its quiescent current is only 15 μA and the device is capable of improved line and load regulation over temperature (+/- 1.0%).The NCP59151DS00GE linear voltage regulator is designed using advanced CMOS technology. It is ideal for use in low power applications including digital cameras, portable medical equipment, lifeline phones, consumer and automotive electronics, battery-operated equipment, and mobile electronics.The NCP59151DS00GEVB evaluation board provides an adjustable input and output voltage for testing the NCP59151DS00GE linear voltage regulator. The evaluation board is pre-configured to provide an output voltage accuracy of ±0.5%. It also provides a selection of power supplies (external, adjustable, USB, battery) which enables the user to quickly evaluate the device’s performance at a variety of different input voltages.The evaluation board includes a switching buck converter for testing the LDO’s load transient response to a step load. This allows for quick and easy analysis and testing of the devices load transient response and control.
