NCV3065MNTXG is one such LED driver which is designed for low power applications in industrial, automotive, and commercial lighting.
The NCV3065MNTXG is a cost-effective, highly efficient, buck-boost step-down regulator designed for low input voltage applications. It is capable of driving up to eight strings and features buck mode from 6V and boost mode from 2.2V. The steady frequency of 400 kHz and a wide input voltage range making it ideal for applications such as handheld devices, automotive lighting and industrial lighting where a low output voltage is required.
The main features of the NCV3065MNTXG are its integrated N-Channel MOSFET, low on-resistance (500mΩ at 4.5V VIN) and high spread of light intensity with the ability to adjust LED string voltage. Other features include built-in overvoltage protection and load disconnection, adjustable internal soft start and maximum operating frequency. The device also offers two temperature ratings that can reach 145°C: the package temperature can be used for applications with high temperature requirements and the junction temperature of the device can be used for applications with low temperature requirements.

The device regulates the output voltage through a buck-boost topology which regulates the output current for each LED string separately.
