NCV33163PG is a DC-DC buck switching regulator which is designed to convert voltage to a regulated output voltage with higher current capacity. Working Principle

The switch is designed with internal current sensing pins that provide feedback to the control loop of the device, allowing it to achieve power conversion efficiency of up to 93%.
The NCV33163PG DC-DC switching regulator can operate in three different modes: continuous conduction mode (CCM), Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM), and Force Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) mode. The operating mode can be selected through the use of an external switch or by setting the DIP switch.
