NCV3843BVD1R2G is a synchronous buck-boost 3-port controller which is specially designed to provide a current-mode control based solution for non-isolated dc-dc buck-boost converter applications. It integrates two complete integrated buck-boost regulators and two bias supply regulator circuits to supply all the necessary operating voltages. This controller required only a single inductor to complete the entire design. The control scheme ensures controllable transition between buck and boost modes and realized excellent dynamic performance.

Working Principle of NCV3843BVD1R2G
The operating principle of NCV3843BVD1R2G is governed by a patented current-mode control topology. It controls two buck-boost regulators which run on isolated power sources. This is done by maintaining the fixed relationship between input side and output side. The input side waveforms are connected to the output side but they maintain low-interaction between them.
