NCV8503PW25G Application Field and Working Principle

Introduction

NCV8503PW25G is a low input voltage, low quiescent current linear voltage regulator with negative output. It is designed for high power applications in single cell Li-ion and Li-polymer batteries. It is designed to meet the stringent requirements of mobile applications and integrated into a single package the voltage regulation function, high accuracy, low noise, current limit, thermal protection and reverse current protection. The NCV8503PW25G provides an adjustable output voltage from -2.5V to -3.3V with a maximum load current of 2A. The operational input voltage range is 2.5V to 5.5V and the input to output differential is 4V. The output voltage is accurate to within ±1.5% over the entire temperature range and is internally compensated for stable operation.
