Working Principle of NUS2401SNT1G
The NUS2401SNT1G device comprises four independent NPN BJTs in which the emitters are connected together. Each BJT has a separate collector pin. An NC output is used to interconnect devices in a linear array. Each device can be turned on or off individually through the base pin. The PNP transistor is turned off when the base terminal is high, and turned ON when the base terminal is low. When the collector current increases, the voltage at the base terminal decreases. This is known as the emitter-follower principle.
The NUS2401SNT1G can be operated in two modes, static and dynamic. In static mode, the device operates with constant voltage and current. In dynamic mode, the device operates with varying voltage and current, driven by a switching controller or signal processing system.
