Thyristors are semi-conductors which are semi-on/off switches. Typically embedded in electronic circuits, thyristors are used to control the flow of electricity and are used in a myriad of applications across many areas. The P1800EBRP2 is a special type of thyristor which is designed and manufactured to be suitable for gate turn-off (GTO) and circuit breakers. The P1800EBRP2 comes as a three-phase bridge type thyristor. It is designed with a ceramic base and epoxy resin to ensure it is very durable and reliable in a wide range of operating conditions.
