PCM1717EGE6 is an extreme low power, high performance stereo audio analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). It is designed for advanced multimedia applications, such as portable audio, hard disk audio, gaming consoles, portable media players and mini components, to record or playback digital audio signals with low latency or distortion. This audio converter can accept a wide range of analogue source signals and provides 14-bit resolution at a 2kSPS (Kilosamples per second) sampling rate. In addition, the device is capable of monitoring the power supply level and temperature in order to minimise system power consumption.
