Thyristors - TRIACs: Q4010L4 application field and working principle

The Q4010L4 is a member of the family of silicon controlled rectifiers (SCRs), more commonly known as thyristors. The device is characterized, among other things, by high surge current and low noise and can be used in both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) circuits.
