RF2045TR7 Application Field and Working Principle

The RF2045TR7 is a high gain, broadband amplifier that can operate from DC to 6GHz in both receive and transmit modes. It has low noise figure and wide dynamic range, making it suitable for use in a variety of applications, such as cellular base stations, point to point radio links, and amateur radio radio transmitters (Ham radios). It can be used to boost signal strength in receivers and to increase the available power in transmitters.

The RF2045TR7 consists of an RF amplifier core, a voltage regulator, and a temperature compensator. The amplifier core is composed of 12 MOSFET transistors, connected in a common source configuration. This configuration is chosen for its good gain, power efficiency and wide operating frequency range. The voltage regulator ensures that the desired bias voltage is applied to each of the transistors. The temperature compensator is used to compensate for variations in operating temperature. It adjusts the bias conditions of each transistor according to the detected temperature.
