SA5.0AHE3/54 Circuit Protection

In operation, this device will dissipate the voltage transient when the voltage exceeds the breakdown voltage of the TVS diode, providing a closed path for the surge current to flow from point A to point B. This protects the equipment connected to the TVS diode. When the voltage returns to normal levels, the diode will reset itself automatically. The device can also handle up to 5.0A of transient current for protection against load spikes and short circuit conditions.
