This ability of the LO frequency port to be modulated allows forstereo and multiplexing applications.

The automatic gain control (AGC) port enables the control of the input signal strength and CMRR (common-mode rejection ratio) withinthe mixer circuit. When the AGC port is enabled, a reverse DC voltage isdecreased when the RF input signal strength increases, whichallows for better signal-to-noise ratio and stablization of the gain within the mixer.
