Working Principle

When an AC waveform is applied to a rectifier, the positive half of the wave enters the anode of the diode and allows the current to flow. The negative half of the wave does not allow the current to enter its anode, and hence does not allow it to flow. When this happens, the DC output is equal to the instantaneous peak of the input waveform. This arrangement creates a full-wave rectifier, also known as a ‘bridge rectifier’.
The SE50PAJ-M3/I has an integrated surge rating of 60A that enhances its power handling capability.
