The SE5501L-R RF Front End is a high performance sub-1GHz RF Front End device designed for applications including low power wireless access points, wireless mBMS/sensors, and point to point industrial applications. It consists of a low noise amplifier (LNA) and power amplifier (PA) in a single package, operating over an industry standard Frequency range of 860 to 960MHz.
The SE5501L-R RF Front End integrates a high linearity LNA with a single-power output stage to provide a fully balanced, high efficiency amplification chain. The LNA has a typical gain of 20dB and its output stage has a typical output power of +28dBm. The output stage is capable of providing up to +33dBm of peak output, with an efficiency of 65% for a maximum current of 1A.
The LNA and PA both feature high linearity and robust design for operations in harsh radio environments. The wide operating bandwidth (860 to 960MHz) provides a wide degree of flexibility for different applications. The SE5501L-R RF Front End also has a slew rate of 50nS, which is suitable for use in radio communication systems.
