The SI53315-B-GMR is a high-performance differential SSTL-15/18 clock buffer, driver and fanout device designed to meet or exceed JEDEC specifications. It improves signal integrity, increases system performance and reduces board space. It is used in applications where SSTL-15/18 clocking is needed such as server, workstation, consumer and industrial markets.

The SI53315-B-GMR is a compact device with a robust differential output and integrated GroundSense circuitry for improved noise reduction. Differential output translates to digital signals that have no single point of failure making them more reliable. It helps protect against electrical overstress with greater noise immunity and is easier to route than single-ended traces.

The SI53315-B-GMR is designed to provide high performance SSTL-15/18 clocking with accurate reference, wide bandwidth and low jitter. It features a differential output, power-sense output and integrated ground sense circuitry for improved noise reduction. An internal PLL allows the clock buffers to generate frequencies far beyond the reference input frequency. It supports output frequency up to 700MHz with output edge rate of less than 200ps.The SI53315-B-GMR is designed to maximize the power efficiency of SSTL-15/18 clocking by allowing users to configure the output drive strength. It also features a power-sense output option, which allows users to quickly identify a logic threshold event. The device includes integrated center-tap diodes for protection from output over-voltage and ESD.

The SI53315-B-GMR can be used in both single-ended and differential applications. It supports single-ended and differential outputs and input configurations. The SI53315-B-GMR can be used to increase system performance by providing clean, clock signals with low-skew and low-jitter, or to reduce board size by fanning-out multi-bit lanes.
