Application Field

The SJ6012RTP rectifier is used for a variety of applications including for general current rectification, battery charging, and switching applications. Working Principle

In order for current to flow, the gate must be pulsed with appropriate voltage. A negative pulse applied to the gate will turn off the switch, preventing current from flowing through the device. Once the gate is turned off, no current can flow through the device.

The device is also capable of providing overload protection by controlling the time it takes for the current to reach a specified peak level. This is done by delaying the pulse applied to the gate from the power supply. This feature prevents any potential damage to the load or other components in the system.
