The SLD8S14A is a precision bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode, made from a monolithic chip of Zener programming with ESD protection, designed to protect sensitive components and systems from high voltage and current transients. It has high surge current capacity, and a low dynamic impedance. It features very low static, capacitance, and pulse rise time. The device is widely used to protect delicate electronic circuits from transient overvoltages, EMI, and Lightning transients.

The SLD8S14A offers excellent protection from lightning/electrical fast transients (EFT/EFT) and other destructive transients. It features a breakover voltage of 33V and a maximum clamped peak voltage of 46V.
