Aluminum electrolytic capacitors (AECs) are based on electrochemical technology, so they store energy in an electrical field within an aluminum oxide film and are generally used for power supply filtering and decoupling applications. These capacitors have superior stability, long life and high capacitance. They have long been used in a wide variety of applications including power supplies, audio equipment, electric vehicles, medical devices, and domestic heavy duty appliances, and they are excellent for providing an improved Electromagnetic compatibility.
