STEVAL-ILH004V1 provides galvanic isolation between its power stage and interface signals and gate drive optocoupler, though a live-zero flyback transformer.
The power stage includes a pair of N-channel MDmesh™ power MOSFET optimized for synchronous rectification and enhanced efficiency. The board includes the TN3V0F PFC control IC and the STC3115 battery fuel gauge IC in the SO-8 package along with all passive components, plus one LED to indicate the board status (fault, protections and standby). The STEVAL-ILH004V1 embedded protection functions with thermal shutdown, overload protection and under voltage lockout.
