Evaluation and demonstration boards and kits are important tools for engineers in the design and development of new technology. STEVAL-IPM08B is one such board that is used to evaluate and demonstrate the performance of power management integrated circuits. The STEVAL-IPM08B board is powered by a 12V input voltage. It includes an external voltage regulator, which acts as a power source for the integrated circuit.
