The STEVAL-MKI163V1 Evaluation Board is designed by STMicroelectronics to specifically evaluate STMicroelectronics’ series of acceleration sensors, and it offers measuring of acceleration, inclination, and vibration within a 3-axis linear acceleration range. It also comprises 2D/3D off-chip heading output, and direction calibration.

STEVAL-MKI163V1 mainly consists of STMicroelectronics’ ASIC LSM6DS3, a 3-axis digital accelerometer and 3-axis digital gyroscope, dual FETs, ultra-low power voltage regulator, IC buzzer, ADC and ARM Cortex M4 microcontroller.

The ARM Cortex M4 microcontroller offers an industrial standard set of peripherals with the application layer that ensures higher performance, low power consumption and security, and the onboard analog interfaces enable remote-control operation.
