STR730FZ1T6 is an ARM7TDMI-S microcontroller used for embedded application. It is one of the least power consuming processors from the STMicroelectronics ARM microcontroller family. The STR730FZ1T6 is a 32-bit device with an embedded ARM7TDMI core, on-chip non-volatile memory (16KB ROM, 4KB EEPROM, 4KB SRAM) as well as several analog and digital peripherals (UART, CAN, PWM, ADC, DAC, BSC, and timer functions).

The STR730FZ1T6 application field mainly cover consumer applications such as home automation, remote control and data acquisition systems. It is also widely used in automotive electrification and body electronics, healthcare and smart city applications. The core features of the processor are ultra-low power consumption, fast power-up and fast transition between low power/sleep mode which makes it suitable for embedded applications.

The STR730FZ1T6 works on the Von Neumann Architecture. This provides access to the ARM7 core registers on board STR730FZ1T6.
