STS3922X54BAAG is an economical RF transceiver chip of Silicon Labs with high performance. It is a two-way mixed signal transceiver integrally integrating analog, digital and RF functions. The chip operates in the ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band in the frequency range of 900MHz to 940MHz, and requires only a few external components to form a complete wireless data acquisition and wireless control system. It is widely used in industrial automation, smart homes, metropolitan area networks, commercial buildings and so on, providing users with a cost-effective wireless communication link.

The working principle of the STS3922X54BAAG module is mainly based on the ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band communication mode. It adopts constant FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) hopping and fixed frequency transmission technologies, and consists of two parts: transmitter and receiver. The working frequency of the module is 900MHz to 940MHz, and the transmission rate is up to 250K baud.

In the transmission mode, the module first modulates the input signal to transmit. The modulation method can be selected from various modulation methods such as GFSK (Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying), FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) and OOK (On-Off Keying). Then the output signal enters the internal transmitter module which is responsible for coding, frequency conversion and amplification. Finally, the signal is transmitted through the antenna, and the transmission power of the module can reach 20dBm.

In the reception mode, firstly, the RF signal is received and detected by the antenna; the detected signal is sent to the receiver module for signal amplification, frequency conversion and demodulation; then, the received signal is decoded; finally, the decoded signal is output. And the receiving sensitivity of the module can reach up to -110dBm.
