SY89426JC-TR\'s Working Principle:

The SY89426JC-TR is designed to reduce the time required to develop clocks. The integrated multiple frequency clock generator core can generate three outputs up to four different frequencies respectively from one 10-MHz input clock. All clocks are frequency locked and phase locked using a phase locked loop to ensure that the outputs remain properly frequency and phase aligned with the input.

The integrated clock multiplier/divider sub-blocks are used to easily generate split clocks for different frequencies. Each clock multiplier/divider is a clocked shift register that is reset periodically based on the input clock. With each reset, the clock multiplier/divider advances by one count while continually checking the current output clock frequency against a given reference clock. When the current output becomes equal to the reference, the comparator resets the count and generates a new output.

In addition, the integrated PLL loop filter circuit provides sufficient bandwidth and stability for the output clock to remain synchronized with the input clock. It also helps improve suppression of EMI/RFI and ensures the low jitter of the outputs. The SY89426JC-TR does not require an external oscillator, thereby reducing overall system cost.
