The T4240PCIE-PB is a Network Processor Solution Evaluation Kit specifically designed to leverage the capabilities of the T4240RDB development board, the flagship processor board from QorIQ, based on the ARM application processor. This evaluation board provides an easy and cost-effective platform for designers to evaluate, develop, and design applications and solutions based on Network Processors, using the Power Architecture family of processors.
The T4240PCIE-PB evaluation board has a number of features that make it an ideal platform for evaluating Network Processor solutions. It offers up to sixteen lanes of PCI Express connectivity, four GbE and two Serial/SPI/I2C ports. The board also provides 1GB DDR3 SDRAM, 32 MB of Serial Flash memory, 10/100/1000 Ethernet PHY, a USB 2.0 host controller, an I2C bus and an SPI bus.
