1. Describe

The TLV376IDBVT family represents a new generation of low noise operational amplifiers with e-trim™ that provide excellent DC accuracy and AC performance. Rail-to-rail input and output, low skew (125 μV, max), low noise (8 nV/√Hz), 1.2 mA (max) quiescent current, 5.5 MHz bandwidth, and fast 2 V slew rate/μs allowed This family of devices is very attractive for a variety of precision and portable applications. Additionally, these devices have a fairly wide supply range and excellent PSRR, making this family ideal for applications powered directly from batteries without regulation. The TLV376IDBVT is available in SOT-23-5 and SOIC-8 packages. The TLV2376 (dual) is available in VSSOP-8 and SOIC-8 packages. The TLV4376 (quad) is available in a TSSOP-14 package. All versions are specified at –40°C to+125°C.

6. Function description

The TLV376IDBVT series of precision amplifiers offer excellent DC performance and excellent AC performance. The TLV376IDBVT operates from a single supply, is capable of driving large capacitive loads, has a wide input common-mode voltage range, and is ideal for driving the input of successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) as well as 24-bit and higher resolution converters . All devices have internal ESD protection. The TLV376IDBVT family is available in a variety of industry standard packages for applications requiring space savings.

7. Application Information

The TLV376IDBVT series op amps are built using e-trim™, a proprietary technology that adjusts the offset voltage in the final steps of manufacturing. This technique compensates for performance changes that may occur during the molding process. With e-trim™, the TLV376IDBVT family provides excellent offset voltage (40 μV, typ). Additionally, the amplifier features fast slew rate, low drift, low noise, and excellent PSRR and AOL. These 5.5MHz CMOS op amps consume only 815µA (typ) of quiescent current.
