TLV5629IDWG4 Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) is a BiMOS architecture that integrates a 0.6 V linear regulator and an 8-bit DAC. It features extremely low power consumption and low output noise. The device incorporates several features such as internal voltage reference (VREF) and offset trim (12-bit resolution) capability to provide accuracy and precision output.The TLV5629IDWG4 DAC can operate from both single and dual voltages of +2.7 V to +10 V, and offers four options for the output range of ground or 2 mV/step to VREF. Its architecture allows the device to operate on either the oscillator or C-MOS technology. It also uses low voltage tolerant TTL logic that allows direct connection to logic levels. The device operates with an off-state power dissipation of less than 0.1 mW.The DAC is typically used as an adjustable voltage source or an adjustable current source. As an adjustable voltage source, it can be used as a variable voltage or regulated voltage source while as an adjustable current source, it can provide cur rent from a TTL logic level power supply.In operation, the digital input directly drives the current output of the DAC. A gain and offset trimmed reference voltage is applied to the DAC output, and this reference voltage can be adjusted for accurate and precise output. The DAC provides high resolution (12-bit) and a low offset, making it ideal for many applications such as audio/video production, high bit-rate digital to analog conversion and medical imaging.The main features of the TLV5629IDWG4 include low-power consumption, low offset voltage, high output current, 12-bit resolution, on-chip reference and gain adjust reference, and logic compatible inputs.
