Working principle
The TLV5580IPWG4 is a delta-sigma modulator architecture ADC. It performs 12-bit resolution conversion through successive approximation and high resolution digital-to-analog conversion. The device has two separate inputs; one is the differential input signal (Vin+) and the other is the reference voltage (Vref). The modulator converts the input signal (Vin+) into a stream of bits (MSB). The output of the modulator is then passed through a low-pass filter, where the incoming stream of bits is averaged and then it is converted back to the analog form, to recreate the original input signal (Vin+).
